As Darwin once said – it is not the strongest of the species, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is most adaptable to change. Same applies to businesses. Ok, to be fair it’s not just OpenText that has this problem, pretty much all ECM systems have their quirks when it comes to administration. Lets find out more about how Fastman has addressed some of the common frustrations…..
Content Suite is not a bowl of cereal, it’s a grand banquet held every day of the month, month after month, year after year. A banquet that manages your core business information – privacy, confidentiality, compliance and all that. To many that’s not the most exciting topic but it’s the sort of thing lawyers love to poke holes in.
In our business lives sometimes we laugh at what we do, sometimes we cry with frustration, and sometimes we know we must to simply get on with it. If things aren’t going as we planned we can all be heard (or seen) asking ourselves why we’re still at it. Other times we don’t need to ask; we know that we enjoy doing what we do.
One of my team mentioned to me this morning that OpenText turned 20 in June, which made me stop and realise that it’s also 10 years since we did our first Livelink / Content Suite deployment. For a couple of reasons it’s a good time to reflect over that time.
By tuning the core platform and aligning it with individual business needs, Fastman improves user adoption and radically changes the way organizations use OpenText Content Suite.
