Fastman is thrilled to announce the latest release of our Permissions Manager for OpenText Content Suite. This release builds upon Permissions Manager’s core access control capabilities and introduces new ways of accessing permissions information through Content Suite 16’s Smart UI.
With Permissions Manager 16 release 10 users will be able to access the permissions management dashboard directly through the Smart UI interface. As with the traditional interface, permission discrepancies are instantly highlighted and end-users can browse down through folder hierarchies to review deeper levels of access information.
For power users, an Advanced Functions option provides access to Permissions Manager’s full range of access control tools. These include bulk editing/replacement of permissions across entire content hierarchies, replacement and/or removal of users and groups, as well as validation and enforcement of permission integrity using approved permissions templates.
